Green Island Culture Park is a historical memorial area which commemorates the lost human rights under the governance with the martial law for a long period of time. . The collections, researches, exhibitions and performances in the museum are provided to communicate with visitors, facilitate cultural exchange in international peace and human rights and reflect the process which Taiwanese had been through to pursue human rights and democracy at that time. Now, the Park presents the history in which human rights were violated and democracy was deprived. The visitors here can experience the development history of human rights and explore the stories occurring with the background during that time. In the program of the Road of Human Rights, visitors are led from Kung Kuang Pi in the west to Bull Head Mountain and Swallow Cave in the east to enter into the atmosphere of old prison culture. It takes around half a day to enjoy a tour with history, humanity, ecology and knowledge.
